2 B9 Advance℠ is an optional, no fee service offered by B9 to its members that requires members to set up a payroll direct deposit to be deposited to the member’s B9 Account℠ at least once each month. The amount of advance a member is eligible to receive will be based on the member's B9 Account℠ history, payroll direct deposit frequency and deposit amount, and other factors determined by B9, and may change from time to time. If a member directs funds to its B9 Account℠ outside his/her paycheck, those funds will not count towards their payroll deposit.
Eligibility requirements apply. Not all users will qualify. As of December 2025, B9 Basic offers advances up to $250 with an average of $70 and B9 Premium offers advances up to $1,000 with an average of $291. Advances not available in all states. B9 warrants that it has no legal or contractual claim against you based on a failure to repay a B9 Advance. B9 will not provide a member with further advances while any amount of their prior B9 Advance remains unpaid under the B9 Advance℠ service. With respect to a failure to repay an advance, B9 warrants it will not engage in any debt collection activities, place the amount owed with or sell to a third party for collections, or report the unpaid balance to a consumer reporting agency.
Loans are not provided by Evolve Bank & Trust. Loans are issued by B9, Inc., which holds a California Finance Lenders License (CFL) and operates as a licensed lender in the state of California (NMLS ID #2156167). B9 Terms and conditions apply. Approval is subject to credit eligibility and applicable regulations.
B9 is a financial technology company, not a bank. B9 Credit Builder loans are issued by Cross River Bank, Member FDIC (“CRB”) and serviced by BuildCredit LLC. Loan proceeds are deposited into a savings account provided by CRB and are insured up to $250,000. FDIC insurance covers accounts held with CRB in the event that CRB fails.
All customer data is properly secured in accordance with federal and state regulations and will be retained until all state and federally mandated record retention requirements are met.
